Royal Enfield Bike Trip to Lansdowne

Bike Riding changes you, we realized coming back from Haridwar driving through Lansdowne, a place least explored in North India & has very less population. The place has its history rooted with British rule in India. Lansdowne is a cantonment town in Pauri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand. The hill station unlike any other was developed by the British for catering for the Recruits Training center of the Garhwal Rifles. This added a historical rush to our 800Km road trip. 14 young bikers, our first 48 hours long road trip, & we were changed youngsters who couldn’t agree more that bike riding just doesn’t make you faster, and it makes you harder, and it gives you better experiences, stories and it gives you new friends, it gets you respect.

You feel proud to be called a BIKER. It teaches you new skills and it makes you less likely to complain. People might look at you as fast people but inside, you are calm & at immense peace. We wondered why, what’s different about bike riding? Of course it’s the machine, the bike. The machine you love like a woman, you gotta take care of her so that it takes care of you back, you pamper it so that it pampers you back, and you completely understand the bike so that it understands you better. And, we’ll never completely understand bikes unless we take it for long ride. Lansdowne gave us a new experience since the place well connected with motor-able roads is remote in its own way. We were now Bikers and proud!
