3 rd day bought a little respite from the hot weather when they hit the mountains on the way to Srinagar, a well planned stay in the houseboat gave all the riders little relaxation. 4 th day was better in terms of weather and roads, Royal Bikers experienced the amazing views of the hills on the way to Kargil, crossing several water bodies and the treacherous Zo-zila pass the riders were all covered in sand and dust. 5 th day came when the rider finally gonna meet their dream destination, going through the bad weather, facing the rains and taking little stoppages at the Magnetic hill and the Sangam point the riders checked in the Hotel in Leh. Next day was not much riding, the riders relaxed and went to explore the nearby places like Shanti Stupa, the City palace, local Monasteries and the Hall of fame, the Kargil War Memorial.

14 th june morning the riders left for Nubra valley, all were eagerly waiting to see the Khardung La. On the way to Khardung La the riders experienced little snowfall and when they reached the highest point on the world’s highest motorable road it started snowing heavily. Reaching the camp side in Nubra valley well before the scheduled time gave the riders enough time to relax and to enjoy the ride on a double humped camel in the famous sand dunes Hundar. 15 th june was a day to remember for all the riders when they were stuck near Khardung La on the way back to Leh. 8 people gave up and went back to NubraValley when they saw that the roads were covered in heavy snow. Rest of the riders were divided in two groups the first group went ahead and were waiting for the people of second group. The people from the second group took a nap in the Army bunker. Few people from the second group walked few kms up to catch up with the riders who were waiting ahead. It was impossible to ride the bike uphill as it was slipping. So all parked their bikes on the hill and walked. Riders from the first group walked a total of 14 km in the continuous heavy snowfall and the temperature dipping down till -15C. the riders finally reached a Army bunker when the police came to the rescue and dropped the riders from the first group to the hotel. The riders from the second group came back to the hotel on the next day after spending the night in the army bunkers. Third group riders who went back also came back to the hotel in Leh the next day after spending the night in the camps in Nubra valley.

First group riders were not allowed to bring their bulls back on 16 th june as well because of continuous heavy snowfall. All the riders were together on 16th evening. The first group riders finally bought their bulls back on 17 th morning when the weather cleared a little. Due to time consumed in this natural calamity the riders were forced to skip their visit to PanagongLake and head straight towards the Sarchu on their way back to Delhi. Reached Sarchu on 18th evening. 19 th morning the riders left for Manali, through the challenging roads or either no roads. After spending the night in Manali the riders headed for the last last destination on their ride, Bilaspur.
