Royal Enfield Bike Trip to Abbott Mount

A ride in the end of the year is always a challenge as the temperature dips few degrees above the zero mark, but none can stop Royal Bikers to explore the unexplored. 11 riders left for the desination in the chilling morning. Everyone was a little uncertain that they will be able to tackle this cold or not. The freezing temperature was one of the major reasong why very less riders opted to come for this ride. Abbott Mount is a very secluded place in Uttrakhand, very near to Pithoragarh. The rider were catching up with the pace and hoping to reach the 450 kms away destination well before the dark, they were supposed to catch up with another rider who was waiting for the riders from Delhi to join in Khatima ( a place very near to India – Nepal border). after their regrouping, the riders realized that they are running a little slow, gradually catching up with the pace the riders experience a little snowfall on the way and reached the destination around 10 in the evening.

Everyone was well tired and went to sleep straight after having dinner. Next morning was much relaxed, all got up late and enjoyed the local hookah in the sun. they headed towards the hill top of Abbott Mount to witness the majestic views from there. after a ride of about 40 minutes, they landed in a dak bunglow where they cooked on their own and enjoyed a simple meal in the middle of the mountains. Evening was spent celebrating the birthday on one of a rider in a café, it was a time to remember for all the riders enjoying the great meal and drinks in the middle of the peaceful mountains with soothing traditional music
